The Calistoga Art Center was formed in 2002 by community members and art enthusiasts to expand and enrich the arts in the Napa Valley through education, experience, awareness and involvement. The current temporary home of the Calistoga Art Center is at 1336A Lincoln Avenue, Calistoga. It is a place for all ages and cultures to enjoy the arts. The Art Center contains two classrooms - one open classroom and a state-of-the art ceramics studio. In addition to holding classes, the center is used as an open studio area, for lectures, exhibits, visiting artists, and special events. Programming in the visual arts; ceramics, painting, drawing, photography, graphic, and textile arts is underway. As the Art Center grows, programming will expand to include performing and literary arts. We believe the Calistoga Art Center will enhance the artistic experience for everyone and become an outstanding contribution to our community. |
