August Briggs Winery is a family-owned winery in Napa Valley dedicated to producing very limited quantities of great wines from carefully selected vineyards across California’s North Coast counties. Owner Joe Briggs brings a quarter-century of winemaking knowledge in working with quality grape growers to produce our signature style of balanced wines with intense fruit character. Joe and his wife Sally welcome you to their winery home in Calistoga. August Briggs currently produces 16 different wines. Joe explains, "I let the grape supply dictate the wines I make now and in the future as well, so I'll be able to deliver different and interesting wines to my customers. One of my main focuses is to have fun with the wine. We probably won't ever be known for one particular wine, but rather making great wine in general."
