Brown Estate is a private family owned and operated estate winery tucked into the hills east of Rutherford in the Napa Valley. With a dream of owning a family farm, our parents put down roots in the Valley in 1980. Between 1985 and 1990 we planted a total of fifty acres of vineyards that include Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Chardonnay. Through our first decade of farming the land, we sold all of our fruit to a variety of small local wineries.
