Dreamweavers Theatre

Dreamweavers TheatreDreamweavers has a long history! The seed that would grow into Dreamweavers was planted in 1978, almost literally in "someone's back yard." Although it's been nearly thirty years since then, and Dreamweavers has seen lots of changes, at it's heart, it's still the same: a great group of people with a love for theater who are dedicated to sharing that love with the Napa Valley community.

Jarvis Conservatory

Jarvis ConservatorySaturday Opera Night brings singers from around the San Francisco Bay Area on the first Saturday of each month, offering them exposure to a live audience and the ambience of a professional theater. Singers are professionally accompanied on the piano while the members of the audience get exposure to a fun evening with many forms of singing. Other activities of the Jarvis Conservatory include workshops and performances in chamber music and puppetry. And since 1994 the Jarvis Conservatory has conducted Opera Appreciation classes with Conservatory Instructor, Maestro Hugo Rinaldi. In 1999 the Conservatory began it's annual Holiday Choral Ensemble featuring Bay Area High School Choirs.

Napa Valley Opera House

Napa Valley Opera HouseThe Napa Valley Opera House was built in 1879 as one of the first "respectable" venues west of the Mississippi River. For the latter half of the 19th century, the Napa Valley Opera House was the cultural center for the region, until the decline of vaudeville and other pressures forced it to go dark in 1914.The house was nearly destroyed until a few Napa Valley Opera House devotees spared it from the wrecking ball in the early 1970s.For the last 15 years, the NVOH has been slowly restoring itself for a new future through a series of fundraising challenges, construction activities and visionary plans. The house came back to life in June 2002 with the opening of the Cafe Theatre; its historic main hall is expected to reopen in late summer, 2003, in all of its original splendor.

Napa Valley Symphony

Napa Valley SymphonyThe Napa Valley Symphony is unique in our community as the only professional orchestra providing music and education programs in Napa County. The orchestra has evolved into a fully professional union ensemble of 70+ musicians and Napa Valley Symphony now employs a full professional administrative staff.

Silo's

Silo'sTucked behind our historic building like a classy Chicago speakeasy, Silo’s features a wine bar with appetizers available until 10pm on Thursdays and midnight on Fridays and Saturdays, and unforgettable live music most Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. It's not unusual to find Grammy winners sitting in for a set with local legends like Skyler Jett and Victoria Theodore. While you may not know exactly who will be playing when you get there, due to the incredible artists that are attracted to the opportunity to drop in and play at "Napa's premiere music room," you always know you're going to hear the very best live jazz, blues, rock, reggae, smooth jazz and motown music around.

Uptown Theater

Uptown TheaterThe Uptown Theatre opened on August 13, 1937. It was quadded in the 1970's and was closed in the late-1980's. Work began in 2005 on a restoration/renovation project, and the auditorium was returned to a single space. In late-2009, restoration and renovation continued and it reopened in early-2010.
