The
winery is the fruition of passion of the Dumont family.
Since purchasing the property in 1985, the family
has gradually been developing the Silver Rose to be
a first class destination resort.
The
Winery opened in June of 2000. Each vintage of our
wine wins awards in acclaimed competitions around
the country. In all, we have accumulated over 200
awards. Included is a 93 rating from Wine Spectator
for our outstanding 2002 D'argent Chardonnay. In the
same vintage the, 2002 Jupilles Merlot received a
score of 98 at the California State Fair. We were
recognized in the American Gold Medal Wine Guide.
To be included in this guide you must be in the top
10% of Gold Medal winners for 2005, based on major
wine competitions throughout the U.S.A.
Silver
Rose Cellars offers a unique private Barrel Tasting
and Tour that allows visitors to experience our passion
and enthusiasm for wine. Enjoy the unique perspective
only a small winery can offer. This Tasting and sTour
is only available for groups and will be arranged
through our Events Dept.
