Casa
Nuestra Winery & Vineyards -
Casa Nuestra, which means “our house” was established
in the Napa Valley in 1979 and continues to produce only about
1,500 cases annually from the estate’s vineyards located
in both St. Helena and Oakville. The Casa staff of six, proudly
produce rare wines of special interest that represent an old-
world, traditional wine list not effected by current marketing
trends. memorabilia.
Carver
Sutro Vineyards - Palisades Vineyard sits in
a small riparian valley northeast of Calistoga in the northern
end of the Napa Valley. It is bisected by an occasionally
torrential Horns Creek, and is blessed with the kind of cobbley
loam soil and very hot summers that are perfectly suited for
growing Petite Sirah and other Rhone style wines.
Bacio
Divino - We are a small family-owned winery,
located in the Napa Valley, which produces two very different
proprietary red wine blends. Our primary wine is called 'Bacio
Divino', and is a Cabernet Sauvignon blend incorporating smaller
amounts of Sangiovese and Petit Sirah. A recent addition has
been 'Pazzo', focusing more on Sangiovese, blended intimately
with other varietals. Both wines are Napa Valley appellations.
Barlow
Vineyards is a 50 acre estate founded in 1994,
located between Calistoga and St. Helena at the upper end
of the Napa Valley in an area well known for producing intense
red wines. The first year the existing 25 year old Cabernet
Sauvignon block was found to be badly diseased and was eliminated,
leaving only one smaller block of disease resistant Cabernet
Sauvignon which was planted in 1992. An eleven-acre block
of Merlot was planted that year in a parcel that had been
fallow for many years.
Jones
Family Vineyards are located on a south facing
hillside between St. Helena and Calistoga in the Northern
Napa Valley. The vineyard's location provides the ideal combination
of soil and climate for the development of Cabernet Sauvignon.
Kenefick
Ranch - Almost 25 years ago, in the midst of
a successful and respected career as a neurosurgeon, including
training at the Mayo Clinic, and tenures as Chief of Neurosurgery
at California Pacific Medical Center and St. Mary’s
Hospital & Medical Center in Marin County, Dr. Thomas
Kenefick fell in love with the Napa Valley and became fascinated
with the correlation between vines and disease. Over time,
he acquired 125 acres of vineyard property in the foothills
of the Palisades Mountains in Calistoga.
OnThEdge
Winery - We are a close group of family and friends
equally passionate about crafting and enjoying expressive
Napa Valley wines. OnThEdge Winery is a complete winery tucked
into the naturally cool cellar below our home high above St.
Helena. We owe our name, “OnThEdge”, to the fact
that our western property line is the actual Napa-Sonoma County
line which follows the ridgeline of the Mayacamas Mountain
Range.
Saviez
Vineyards - To satisfy some of the white wine
lovers we are also introducing a Muscat Canelli in 2006,.
This special wine is available only at the ranch for wine
tasting and tours. In 2005 we harvested our first Petite Sirah.
That should be available in 2007-2008, "this wine will
“rock”! Also in 2006 we will harvest our first
crop of estate grown Cabernet Sauvignon, which promises to
be outstanding!
Shypoke
- Wines from Calistoga share characteristics that might be
described as concentrated. The wonderful union of Calistoga's
climate and geology produce wines with tannins just a bit
brawnier, flavors more earthy and tobacco-like and an intriguing
ripe spiciness. Calistoga's remarkable daytime / nighttime
temperature differential throughout the year, produces firmer,
riper wines with more black cherry flavor.
Stonegate
Winery - Stonegate's team hand-harvests fruit
into small, half-ton bins, then hand-sorts the fruit at the
crush pad. This enables us to work only with superior fruit
from the 200 acres of Napa Valley vineyards we own or control.
Our vineyard manager, Steve Rein, nurtures vines located in
Chiles Valley District and Diamond Mountain, the sole source
for our Diamond Mountain Reserve.
The Vineyard Cellars - The Vineyard Cellars are
the exclusive agents for over 45 Californian and Oregon wineries.
Our wines are all drawn from small boutique estates and represent
some of the greatest wines in the world.
Peter
Michael Winery - Only premium hillside vineyard
fruit is selected for Peter Michael wines. Vineyards from
our estate located on the slopes of Mount St. Helena in Eastern
Sonoma County, the Alexander Mountain Estate above Alexander
Valley, and the Pisoni Vineyard in the Santa Lucia Highlands
provide the foundation for the intense flavors and aromas
in our wines. Each wine is a single-vineyard bottling representing
the unique characteristics of its site.
Black
Coyote is the name given to the union of Dr.
Ernest A. Bates, Dr. Olin Robison, Jack Ruffle, and Stanley
S. Trotman, Jr. They're strategically collaborating their
time, energy, interest, and resources into the Napa Valley
wine industry. Their name, "Black Coyote," represents
the whimsical, yet clever, side of four very prominent gentlemen,
who enjoy the occasional stress release that the name suggests.
Collaboratively, they're ingeniously enjoying the quality
of life that's synonymous with Napa Valley. The pursuit of
fine wine is a passionate mission for each "Black Coyote."
Mayacamas
Vineyards is a wine estate located in the Mayacamas
Mountains which divide the Napa and Sonoma Valleys. The old
stone winery is perched on the edge of a dormant volcano crater,
near the top of Mt. Veeder. Fifty two acres of vineyards are
planted on mountain sides ranging from 1,800 to 2,400 feet
above sea level. Deer, eagles, coyotes and an occasional bear
still inhabit this rugged terrain.
Gargiulo
Vineyards is a small family winery committed
to producing world-class, terroir-driven wine from our two
Oakville estate properties, Money Road Ranch and 575 OVX.
In their annual report Food and Wine Magazine named Gargiulo,
"one of the most notable new wineries on the planet"
and Robert Parker of the Wine Advocate recently noted, "This
is a new discovery for me, these are well-made wines."
Gargiulo
Vineyards - In 2000 Jeff and Valerie Gargiulo
purchased 9 additional acres in Oakville at 575 Oakville Crossroad.
This vineyard, named 575 OVX (Oakville Crossroad) is situated
on the eastern side of Oakville; sandwiched between Rudd and
Screaming Eagle. In the spring of 2001 Gargiulo re-planted
575 OVX to Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petite Verdot.
It is one of the only south facing sloped vineyards in Oakville.
Fall 2004 marked the first harvest off of 575 OVX and in May
2005 the Gargiulo's begin construction on a state-of-the-art
winery.
