Laird Family Estate StarStarStarStar
Laird Family EstateWe have seen a family dream come to fruition, from vine to tasting room, based primarily on the incredible diversity and quality of our vineyards. The stewardship of these vineyards began nearly twenty-five years ago when many pioneer farmers passed on critical knowledge and techniques to Ken Laird and later to son Justin, all in the spirit of kindness and helping hands. Several of these farmers, like Guillermo “Willie” Medina, were there in the beginning and continue to play core roles within our vineyard operations. Today Justin oversees nearly 2000 prime vineyard acres for Bayview Vineyards, the Laird’s vineyard management company. While Bayview Vineyards is small and completely family run, it serves over 35 ultra premium wineries including our own family label.

Castello di Amorosa StarStarStarStar
Castello di AmorosaRising above the hills in the Napa Valley is Castello di Amorosa, which translates to the “castle of love” in Italian. Castello di Amorosa, an authentic-styled, 12th century Tuscan castle-winery complete with high walls and five defensive towers and over 30 acres of estate vineyards. It was built over a 15-year period by Dario Sattui, a fourth generation winemaker and owner of V. Sattui Winery in St. Helena, California. The Wall Street Journal cited Castello di Amorosa as a “must-see destination,” and more recently, the Contra Costa Times included Castello di Amorosa as one of the top destination wineries in the country. After decades of research, planning and studying medieval castles in Italy and Europe, Sattui commenced building in 1994. The Castello evolved to include 121,000 square feet, 107 rooms, (of which 95 are used for winemaking or wine storage) 8,000 tons of hand-squared stone, 8 levels (4 above ground, 4 below) 900 linear feet of caves, a great hall with two-story Italian frescoes, a drawbridge and a moat.

Schramsberg StarStarStarStar
SchramsbergHugh Davies, President and Winemaker of Schramsberg, is devoted to carrying on his parent's vision: to create America's premier sparkling wines. His passion for constant refinement of vineyard sources and winemaking techniques is captured in each bottle. Our small winery spares no effort to create the complex bouquet, refreshing acidity and depth of flavors found in the finest of sparkling wines. Schramsberg grapes are sourced from 80 cool-climate vineyards located in four counties. In a century-old tradition rarely practiced today, the winemakers use barrel fermentation and barrel aging in the creation of our sparkling wines. After bottling, the wines are hand-stacked and hand-riddled in our historic Diamond Mountain caves. Our releases have been heralded as some of the best sparkling wines available in the world.

Chateau Boswell StarStarStarStar
Chateau BoswellAt Chateau Boswell we strive to be responsible to our community's ongoing dependence upon a strong environmental structure by being not only a sustainable agricultural property, but also a totally organic one. Our vineyards and landscaping are all maintained by hand labor, ours and our employees, and with this closeness to our land and fruit we have developed a very sensitive and attention to detail approach to the production of our hand crafted wines. The original Chateau Boswell vineyard was planted with one of the earliest French Cabernet Sauvignon clones brought to America.

Kapcsandy Family Winery StarStarStarStar
Our first two vintages of wines the 2003 and 2004 were produced by Helen Turley. For 2005 we brought in Helen Turley’s recommendation; Rob Lawson, the winemaker at Napa Wine Company for the past 16 years, where most of Napa Valley’s super premium wines were originally crafted and are still produced to date along with Denis Malbec, from Chateau Latour, Pauillac; the First Growth winery in Bordeaux, France as our consulting winemakers.
